    Parties on the Parkway is a free concert series that occurs the second Thursday of the Month from May to September. Some food and beverage vendors will be available at most events and are cash only. This series is hosted by the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Joseph. It's presenting sponsor is Nodaway Valley Bank and Entertainment sponsor is Farmers State Bank. Entertainment lineup includes: May 9 - Retro@ctive (80's cover band) June 13 - Oxymoron (Muliple Generes) July 11 - Greater Tomorrow (Indy/Alternative) August 8 - Whiskey Bend (Country) September 12 - Swift Kik (Classic Rock) Rain dates are schedulled for the third Thursday of every month)

  2. Fly Fishing Basics Clinic - A Missouri Department of Conservation Program

    Join the MDC on Thursday, September 12, from 6-7pm, to learn basic fly fishing skills. Take some time to practice your newly learned skills. All equipment and bait is provided. Fishing Permits are required for individuals between 16 and 64. Please keep in mind that because this is an outdoor event, it is weather dependent.
