Join a new free six-week program that is being offered to all ages at the Joyce Raye Patterson Senior Center, 100 S 10th Street from 10-11 am on Thursdays from September 26 - October 31, 2019. During this six week program, learn how to safely make physical activity a part of your everyday life while improving your mood, helping you move easier, and for those suffering with pain, learn how to manage that pain.
This is a free program lead by trained instructors from the Arthritis Foundation. You don't have to be suffering from arthritis to attend. Wear your walking shoes or tennis shoes and take steps to better health. All participants receive a free book.

St. Joe FIT is now in it's third session for the 2019 season and we are back to walking the urban trail system in St. Joseph. Walks will start at the following locations:

October 10 - MWSU Parking lot North and across the street from Logan Hall (MWSU concrete trail to Faraon Street)

Join the Missouri Department of Conservation for a free program to learn about the bats of Missouri, their vital role in our ecosystem, how they benefit us, and the deadly White Nose Syndrome that is wiping out our bat population. This program is appropriate for all ages and no registration is required. Since it is an outdoor event, it is weather dependent.
