Seven commissioners comprised as follows:  five people appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council, one person appointed by Buchanan County and one person appointed by the St. Joseph School District.  Members serve four-year terms.

About the Board

The board assists in returning unproductive land in nontax-producing status to private ownership or other productive use and to avoid other land from falling into that state.
